We are a start-up devoted to helping children improve their cognitive and socio-emotional abilities. Starting from the youngest ones – 3 year-olds up to 12+ year-olds, we train valuable life skills through play and support our players in becoming happy, well-rounded, and socially responsible adults.
PlayCraft is the brand, under which a variety of products and services are being developed. The vision that we hold is to create a vast variety of products and services for the digital market as well as the offline activities related to kids.
Currently, we are developing educational software for kids 4 to 6+ year-olds for tablets and phablets. It runs in a fairy-tale narrative sequence through 12 episodes, where each episode is a separate game challenge. The aim is to constantly develop new episodes, which enhance the learners and secure the adoption of the desired skills.
Social interaction is inseparable part of life. We help children explore interaction possibilities and the outcomes they provoke. We train them to think of others as well as themselves, to understand difference and feel empathy. Through play simulation, life-like situations are recreated, where children can safely explore variety of behavioural strategies.
Kids learn best through experience. We empower them to learn while exploring realistic scenarios. They are enhanced by immediate positive feed-back and built-in permission to fail. The focuse is on skills: social, cognitive and emotional. Skills that enable children to communicate successfully; to analyze and reason; and to develop healthy relationships with people around them.
Having fun is a key to effective learning. Enjoying, exploring and playing are the natural ways to engage and motivate children. Learning through play is how they make sense of the world around them. While playing, we facilitate kids to improve their memory and concentration, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments.
Kids are placed in a series of authentic life-like situations, where they can play, interact with game characters, and solve challenges as they would in real life. It is proven that simulation play increases the transfer of skills in real life.
The software, we are currently developing, runs in a fairy-tale narrative sequence through 12 episodes, where each episode is a separate game challenge. The aim is to constantly develop new episodes, which enhance the learners and secure the adoption of the desired skills.
Children learn and form their understanding through experience. We allow them to experiment with no fear of punishment a variety of emotions and reactional patterns, to test them, receive feed-back and be prepared for similar real-life situations.
