About PlayCraft

We are a start-up devoted to helping children improve their cognitive and socio-emotional abilities. Starting from the youngest ones – 3 year-olds up to 12+ year-olds, we train valuable life skills through play and support our players in becoming happy, well-rounded, and socially responsible adults.

PlayCraft is the brand, under which a variety of products and services are being developed. The vision that we hold is to create a vast variety of products and services for the digital market as well as the offline activities related to kids.

Currently, we are developing educational software for kids 4 to 6+ year-olds for tablets and phablets. It runs in a fairy-tale narrative sequence through 12 episodes, where each episode is a separate game challenge. The aim is to constantly develop new episodes, which enhance the learners and secure the adoption of the desired skills.

Kids are placed in a series of authentic life-like situations, where they can play, interact with game characters, and solve challenges as they would in real life. It is proven that simulation play increases the transfer of skills in real life.

Children learn and form their understanding through experience. We allow them to experiment with no fear of punishment a variety of emotions and reactional patterns, to test them, receive feed-back and be prepared for similar real-life situations.

From Our Blog

A story for the story

We have all been children. We have grown up with characters like Pippi Longstocking, Tom Sawyer, Cinderella and Peter Pan. Characters that have inspired our imagination to travel in time, to dream about magical places, to think and analyze, and feel a true deep emphaty. These fairy-tale characters were the role models for us. From them we were learning and picking which are valuable skills and qualities that to possess in order to be accepted, to be liked and to be successful in a society. The characters in question, do not age opposed to us. Today, we are already grown up children and we are in the role of parents. Our children, the children of the 21st century are the same as us - curious, exploring and thirsty for adventures. The only difference between us and them is that they grow in another context. The context of modernity: tablets, phablets,…

Plop on my shoulder!

One hot summer day, Dexter was walking alone toward the park. Dexter noticed a teenage boy walking ahead of him ... "Lucas!" muttered Dexter, frowning. Lucas is Matt's big brother. Dexter likes Matt a lot, but not his big brother. Lucas was a bully. He likes picking on kids smaller than him, even if they were Matt's friends! Suddenly, Dexter saw something fall to the ground from Lucas' pocket! "What's that?" thought Dexter. He followed Lucas and picked up the black object on the ground. "His wallet!" whispered Dexter. Suddenly ... PLOP! "Give it back, kid!" whispered Plop into Dexter's right ear. "It's the right thing to do!" Plop is a blue kid from another planet. Sometimes he wears a white shirt and sometimes he wears red. He appears on Dexter's shoulders every time Dexter needs to make important decisions. The Plop that appeared on Dexter's right…
